Freudenberg has held business ties with customers and suppliers in South America for more than 160 years. Having started life as a tannery, Freudenberg’s early business connections were established through buying in skins and the trading of leather.
Today, Freudenberg’s Business Groups offer their products and services to South American customers, supplying many diverse industrial segments, including the automotive, construction, energy and chemical, mechanical and plant engineering, household and professional cleaning, textile and clothing sectors.
Almost all Freudenberg Business Groups in the region have their production sites located in Brazil, with sales teams in the most important economic cities in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Venezuela. The Regional Corporate Center South America in Alphaville, near S?o Paulo, Brazil, offers the Freudenberg companies centralized support and services in the region.
